When Hunger Felt Like Anxiety Instead of Appetite
For years I treated any feeling in my stomach like a problem to solve. I didn't know the difference between anxiety and actual hunger.
Learning the difference
Real hunger feels quieter. It builds slowly. Anxiety spikes and fades. Learning to tell them apart changed how I responded to both.
Still learning to trust the signals
I'm still getting it wrong sometimes. But I'm getting better at pausing and asking what my body is actually asking for.
