On slow weeks and the scale
Some weeks the scale won't move, and it can feel like the floor dropping out. Before you let that number write the whole story, here's what it leaves out.
Bodies hold water, build muscle, shift with sleep and stress and salt. A flat week on the scale can sit right on top of a week where you got stronger, ate more consistently, and felt more like yourself.
Slow weeks happen. They don't undo the others.
Measure more than the morning weigh-in
- Did meals feel a little easier this week?
- Did you add something — a snack, a richer breakfast, a second helping?
- Did you move in a way that felt like care?
Those are gains too. The slow weeks are where the habit quietly sets. Keep feeding yourself with grace, and let the line be a line — not a verdict.
